Wireless Seismic Delivers First RT System 2 to Bay Geophysical

Wireless Seismic, Inc., a leading provider of real-time cable-less seismic acquisition systems, announced today the sale and delivery of its first
RT System 2 seismic data acquisition system to Bay Geophysical, Inc. Bay, headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, will begin using the RT System 2 for 2D and 3D acquisition projects in Michigan and Indiana starting in early October.
“Bay Geophysical selected the RT System 2 based on its reduced seismic footprint and for its real-time seismic data return capabilities,” stated Lee Kurtzweil, President, Bay Geophysical. “Another key factor in Bay’s decision to move forward with the RT System 2 is that it can perform real-time acquisition parameter selection and noise monitoring, which are critical capabilities in meeting our QA/QC needs.”
