RT System 2 – RealTIME and CableFREE seismic data acquisition system – scalable to high channel count configurations

Wireless Seismic, Inc., the leading innovator of real-time and cable-less seismic data acquisition systems for the oil and gas industry, announced today the purchase of its RT System 2 seismic data acquisition system by Dawson Geophysical Company, a leading provider of onshore seismic data acquisition services in North America.

“We have been development testing this new radio-based 2D and 3D system over the past 18 months under a variety of field conditions,” stated Stephen Jumper, CEO of Dawson Geophysical. “During that time, we have seen continuous improvement in the effectiveness and usability of the product. We have recently deployed this system on several proprietary 3D projects for independent operators in the mid-continent region, and we have been pleased with its performance to date.”

“Wireless Seismic is very proud to announce this system purchase by Dawson, and we thank the Dawson team for their ongoing support in the development and testing of the system,” commented Roy Kligfield, CEO of Wireless Seismic. “We have developed RT System 2 into a commercially compelling product with Dawson’s assistance, and this purchase is further evidence that the system is gaining momentum in the market place,” added Kligfield.
