With low-power RF transceivers, each acquisition unit acts to relay seismic data down the rib and up the backbone to the central system while inserting its data real-time; eliminating the need to harvest data and the risk of losing it—by theft, unit misplacement or equipment failure. Our proprietary RF technologies easily provide for receiver-point intervals well within today’s survey dimensions. In a transcription-free environment, clients can keep abreast of survey quality with data availability expected only from cabled systems. With standard observer tools and SEG-compatible third-party products, there are no boundaries to achieving assurance of high-quality surveys. Wireless systems inherently reduce crew risks and environmental impact, reducing the HSE footprint.
